A summer day camp in Philadelphia reserved the pool at The Valley Club in the suburbs for an hour and a half a week so kids could enjoy a nice, cool dip in the pool.
When they arrived for their first swim, the sheer number of kids completely overwhelmed the facility's ability to guarantee the safety of the kids and the other pool guests.
The Valley Club's president, John G. Duesler Jr., had a tough decision to make, but he did exactly the right thing.
He even took it a step further, graciously stating that he had underestimated the total number of children that would be coming.
That's a nice thing to say, but here's what I say: The director of the summer day camp should have been more forthright with the true number in the first place.
The summer day camp caters to low-income black kids.
Uh-oh.
So now the day camp director is making it racial.
Had the day camp director checked her facts, she would have found out that Duesler is an Obama supporter and a peace activist.
But she didn't, not that it would have mattered anyway.
Now she says she's going to file a lawsuit for racial discrimination.

Calling Reverend Sharpton! Hello? Hello?
And what are the kids learning from all this?
Lessons about safety because there weren't enough lifeguards at the pool to handle the huge number of kids?
Lessons about tolerance because once in a while people of every color say idiotic things about those who look different than they do?
Heck, no!
She's teaching them that even though there's a black President in the White House, absolutely nothing in this evil, racist nation has changed.
Thank goodness the little darlings have such a great mentor.

This issue is easily solved.
(A) How many CHILDREN can safely be in the pool? That will be a smaller number than the number of PEOPLE since there will be an obvious lack of adults.
(B) How many children attending?
(B) How many lifegaurds are NEEDED to keep the group safe?
(C) How many lifeguards are there?
It's a very easy equation. I did note two things in the report. There were two other day camps, yet only one of the three are complaining. Also, the one daycamp complaining said that the children were upset to hear racial comments such as "too black in their skin to swim."
Truly, no one can accertain if that was said. It's the word of adults vs the word of a couple minority children. But here is my guess. In a pool full of children yelling and screaming you can not hear exactly what is being said unless you face to face with the person you're speaking to and speaking loud and clear (we frequent the city pool). Some adult probably made the comment about the number of children who couldn't swim and a couple children either mishead or made it into something it wasn't.
It would have had to be been practically shouted for the kids to hear it clearly. I seriously doubt racial adults would say something like that loud enough in a crowded pool area to be heard.
And that's just plain common sense.
It is disgusting that that black lady interviewed is such a racist!
She thinks it would have been better to allow that many kids in the pool and if some of them drown...oh well.
This is getting real old -isn't it?!!!!!
C-CS
When it comes to race the white man is never cut any slack at all. We are inherently evil don't you know? Plus only whites can be racist.
The filing of the lawsuit is a waste of time and manpower.
The regulations as to the numbers allowed in the pool at the same time will get the case tossed immediately. At least, that's what SHOULD happen.
Sharpton is involved because (1) he's a victimologist who loves to play the race card and (2) he's a media whore -- not necessarily in that order.
This should be about child safety. Not racism.
sheesh..that picture of Al made me ill!
It is ALL RIDICULOUSNESS.
I am trying to break this down, and this is HARD to TRY to show what their evil 'multi-cultural' MARXISM has done to ALL races, taken away their IDENTITY.
Sad.
