CONSERVATIVE ACTORS: A RARE BREED

I'm sick of hearing about Michael Moore's films.

He makes gobs of capitalistic bucks for his efforts.

Most of the Hollywood elite are uber-Libs who are in denial about the fact that they're part of the evil capitalistic American system.

But there are conservative actors who deserve recognition for not being afraid to "out" themselves.

Here are some examples:

Gary Sinese is the co-founder of Operation International Children (formerly Operation Iraqi Children).

Kelsey Grammer worked tirelessly to prevent his sister's murderer from being paroled.

Dennis Hopper has always been associated with hippy-dippy types, but his life was changed forever when he voted for Ronald Reagan, after which he never looked back.

Patricia Heaton
is honorary chair of the national anti-abortion organization Feminists for Life.

Tom Selleck donated several firearms from his movies to the NRA Museum.

Angie Harmon openly defends herself against race-baiters who are upset that she disagrees with President Barack Hussein Obama.

Craig T. Nelson vowed to stop paying taxes until politicians start representing him.

And the list goes on and on.

I've previously done tributes to Robert Duvall and Ted Nugent.

Whenver you're aware of films coming out with these and other conservative actors in them, go to the movie theater and slap down your ten bucks.

They deserve our support.

You know, Pas....I came by mostly just to tell you how much I admired you for your comment at Law and Order teacher about your mortgage, life, etc. Bravo.

But, then I loved this post, too, as usual! Senise is working on a LOT of things besides his wonderful work in Iraq....stay tuned! Patricia Heaton ROCKS!! I think she's got something like 7 children; I hope she's raising future Republicans! :-)

These people do deserve recognition and I am glad you have done so. I am not a movie goer, but when I hear of one with a conservative actor/actress in it, I have been known to tell my friends about it. It is important that we direct our dollars towards those who are like thinkers and not towards someone who is devoting their lives to destroying what our great country stands for
(Michael Moore).

Then of course there was John Wayne, Chrleton Heston, and Ronald Reagan

Thanks for saying that, Z. I was pretty passionate about the issue at that moment.

G2M, as long as you're spreading the word, that's great.

Chuck, isn't it disgusting how such distinguished names have been dragged in the mud by the Libs for so many years?

I have a hard time separating the person from their "art". I can't even step foot anywhere near a Sean Penn movie! But Gary Sinise is one of the good guys! And he's a great actor to boot! Bonus!

I must look up FfL -Patricia Heaton's group--I've heard of them through my contacts---maybe my LALFL group can co-ordinate w/ them..
will probably be seeing Senise at a pro-life banquet this Saturday...and-he loves our BEST so - double good on him!!!!!
Thank you for the list --PCC
Checked out your comments at LaOT--I totally agree w/ them...

David Mamet, one of the best screenwriters and playwrites out there (Glengarry Glen Ross is an outstanding picture), has outed himself as a recovering former liberal. So he'll probably never receive another favorable review.

Kid Rock and Gene Simmons are both avowed supporters of the American military.

Actor Ron Silver (Law & Order, The West Wing) was an outspoken conservative. Sadly, his death was among the first in this year's wave of unexpected celebrity passings.

And I've heard rumors (totally unsubstantiated) that Sarah Michelle Gellar leans to the right.

But unfortunately we seem to have lost Dennis Hopper. He made a big presentation of his support for Obama when he was a guest on that hen-party called The View.

I like your post... I'm going to link you over in mine. It's great to find out some of my favorite entertainers are standing up for their beliefs and not just cowering in the corners.
