GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS !
A majority of the men in my family served their country [and they were all liberal Democrats--Army, Navy, and Marines], starting with WWII, and going on to Korea, Vietnam, the first Gulf War, and just recently, a nephew volunteered for the Army and is now awaiting deployment to Afghanistan.
We salute all the brave men and women who serve.
I do it by actually visiting the graves of those who have departed this world.
I remember my Dad watching _Victory At Sea_ --He was always 'close to the vest' as to the War..(4 years in the Pacific)
