The fact is, moderate Republicans today need to re-emerge and assert themselves to take the reigns away from the far-right Tea Party-esque escapade that's crippled the legitimacy of the party. There's a slow voter shift happening and something needs to be done to stem the tide on a national level.
They're out there somewhere....

ReplyDeleteChomsky never makes sense. The Tea Party often does. Republicans have blown every opportunity for years and years. I don't really think the party has the ability to close ranks on a decent agenda. To do so would mean paying a little attention to the Tea Party folks, Palin, Paul, DeMint and other conservatives, and a few libertarians, the Mark Levin followers, and so forth. But it's not going to happen. And Republicans will fade further in the mist.
